A History Lesson In Sean Connery Approved:
Its hard to say anything here without us sounding like we think we’re famous. But I’ll tell you how this band formed. I’ve been friends with Andrew for a while, and for a long time I’ve been trying to set up bands that didn’t work. One word of advice, don’t ever try people out for your band, cus it never works. Just form one with your friends. Anyway, Andrew came up to me and said “Hey, we should form a band, just for the hell of it.” I was kind of reluctant at first...but nothing else was working so I figured why not. So we got together with my brother, Nick, who’s been playing drums for some time now. Andrew was a guitarist, and didn’t play the bass at the time, so I let him use my bass and we just jammed with some easy cover songs, like green day and bands like that. I cant say that it was magic at first, or that things just clicked right there. We had to grow as a band, and I feel we’ve grown enough now to write some good songs and look like we know what we’re doing on stage, but there’s always room for growth with any band.

Now I’ll bet your asking yourself, what’s with the band name?? Well it took us a while to come up with a band name, its the same way with titling our songs. But if you’ve been in a band, you know the hardest thing to come up with is the name. We decided that anything serious wouldn’t sound good. Music shouldn’t always be taken so seriously, its all in fun. Anyway, Sean Connery’s accent has always been something we’d joke about...then one day we were driving around and it slipped out, “....that is NOT Sean Connery approved!” For a while we would base things on weather or not Sean Connery would approve (hey, you know how bored people can get!). Then eventually, we just decided to name our band that. It was a hell of a lot better than all the other names we were coming up with. The way I see it, a band name is just something people use to recognize a band. What matters most is the music, and we try our hardest on that.

Hopefully all you Colorado people keep coming back to this page. Keep checking when we’ve got another show, you never know when another one is going to be added. Hope to see you all later!

-Chris
